GEOTECH's Managing Director is Dr. Birgitta Hartung-Kagi, who holds a MSc and a PhD in geology from the universities of Kiel and Braunschweig/Germany. Birgitta worked as a research geologist/geochemist in Germany before moving to Australia in 1984. After several years of geochemical/geological work for Perth-based oil companies, she joined Analabs (a division of the Inchcape Group) as Manager - Oil and Gas. In 1991 she headed a management buyout of Analabs - Oil and Gas and set up GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES PTY LTD. Since then, she has had overall responsibility for all technical and commercial aspects of the company.
